WE'RE GOING ON A ROAD TRIP

It's official.

We're going on a road trip.

Almost a year ago, Shelbie and I were hanging out, bouncing around crazy and far-fetched fantasies (one of our favorite pastimes), and the idea of a U.S. road trip came up. "Let's do it." Shelbie said, which she says to all ideas, crazy or not. They aren't all brought to light, but every once in a while, I'll say, "No really. Let's actually do it."

And here we are.

We leave at the end of the month, and plan on going through twenty-three states! This trip has been in the works for so long, it's unreal to think that it's all coming together in these final days. So many amazing people have offered their support, their supplies, their homes, and their invaluable travel advice. We couldn't be more grateful. As our form of thanks, we plan to keep all of you updated on our trip through this blog and through videos (my favorite form of storytelling). Shelbie and I are really looking forward to combining our shared love for film, writing, and travel through this site— passions we've been cultivating for a while but haven't yet flaunted to the world. We're so excited to have you with us on a trip that we'd stay awake dreaming about long before we ever thought it actually possible. So stay tuned, we have so many incredible plans ahead of us. Welcome to the adventure.
